What is required to make a reservation and what is the cancellation policy?
We require a 50% deposit to confirm a reservation. The balance is due upon check-in. There is a 30-day cancellation policy. All changes to the reservation or cancellations must be completed 30 days prior to the date of arrival, or you will forfeit the 50% deposit. There is no exception within 30 days of arrival. We are not responsible for any family emergencies, weather emergencies, etc. We strongly urge you to consider trip insurance to protect yourself in case of emergencies. Trip Insurance can be purchased at several websites such as tripinsurance.com or through a travel agency.
What is your pets policy?
We are a no pets property. Pets are not allowed in the homes or on the Resort. You are not permitted to have pets left on the outside of the home or in your vehicle. Please leave your pets at home or make arrangements to board your pets. There are several places in town that do provide this service. If this policy is violated, Rams Horn Village may charge a $100 per day of violation plus a $250 cleaning fee.
What is your smoking policy?
Smoking is prohibited in all buildings and in and near all common areas, including the clubhouse, laundry room, playground, fitness center, swimming pool and hot tub areas, the courtyard, and outside eating areas. This policy includes all homes, including shared patios/porches and balconies. Smoking is permitted only on the private (not shared) decks of the homes. Please request an outdoor ashtray at the front desk and dispose of your cigarettes responsibly.
How many people are allowed in a home?
All of our homes are two-bedroom, two-bathroom homes. There is a king size bed, a queen size bed, and a pull-out sofa sleeper per cabin. We allow a maximum of six guests per home. This is not a suggestion; it is a restriction. Children and infants are included in this maximum six-person limit.
Can I request a specific cabin floor plan or location on the resort?
Rams Horn Village is a fractional ownership property. Rams Horn Village owners always have first priority to the cabins they own. If there is a specific home or a specific part of the property that you would like, then you are welcome to make a request. While we cannot guarantee that a request will be met, we do consider requests when making final cabin assignments. Cabin numbers are not given out until check-in, as assignments are subject to change.

I am checking in through RCI. What will I need to check in?
Please bring you RCI confirmation letter, as it will be requested at check-in. We will also ask for a credit card number for long distance phone calls and as a damage deposit.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in time is at 4:00 PM and check-out time is at 10:00 AM. If you are going to arrive after office hours, please call and make arrangements for a late check-in. If you depart before office hours, please leave your keys in the early departures box outside of the front desk.
Do you have child or assistance items that we can borrow?
We have cribs, high chairs, booster chairs, strollers, futon mattresses, toilet risers, shower seats, and shower grips available to borrow. Please let your reservationist know that you would like to request any of these items when you make your reservation so they can be placed in your cabin prior to arrival. You can also request items after check-in by calling the front desk staff at extension 0.
